Have we given up on those who have not given up on themselves?
For me, my coming to America was a miracle and has been nothing but a source of blessings for my family and community. Within the past 12 years, my life has been reformed dramatically and this reformation has affirmed the love of God in my heart.
Today, I am humbled to have been given an opportunity to serve America as a soldier. After returning safely from two rotations in Operation Iraqi Freedom, I am now blessed to be engaged in a different battle. This battle is one which is risk-free, and rewarding.
The fight against poverty has many different fronts which must all be attacked now for the sake of the many women and children, in Ghana, whose lives are ruled by despair and uselessness. This is a fight that everyone can enlist in, and is commissioned to fight. It is a fight which is progressive and which accomplishes much with every step.
Today I am asking you to join me as I extend my service to fight poverty in Ghana. Please join me, help me, use me. Extend your faith with me through your giving, and together we can watch the Lord move in the lives of many in Ghana. This is America, and through Christ who strengthens us, we shall together restore hope and confidence to the women and children of Ghana. You’ve been chosen to be here and to be blessed. Now join me in using what we have been given to bless others.
Thank you and God bless you!
